This policy explains what personal information themoneycomeback.com collects, why, who it is shared with, and what you can do about it. The site is operated by Elsa Tortella. If you have a question about anything here, write to hello@themoneycomeback.com.
What we collect
- What you give us. Your name and email address when you subscribe, use the contact form, download a free resource, or run the Debt Payoff Calculator and ask for your results by email.
- Purchase information. If you buy a course, we receive your name, email, billing address and order history. Card numbers are handled entirely by our payment processors and are never stored on this website.
- Account information. If you enrol, we store your login credentials and your progress through the course.
- Numbers you enter in the Debt Payoff Calculator. These are processed in your browser to produce your payoff plan. We do not store them on our servers.
- Technical information. IP address, browser type, pages visited and referring site, collected through cookies and analytics.
Why we use it
- To send you the emails, resources and course material you asked for.
- To process your order and give you access to what you bought.
- To answer your questions.
- To understand which pages people read, so the site gets better.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run the site. They only receive what they need to do their job:
- Hostinger – website hosting.
- Kit (formerly ConvertKit) and MailerLite – email delivery and list management.
- WooPayments (Stripe) and PayPal – payment processing.
- Google Analytics – website traffic measurement.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
We only email you if you asked us to, or if you bought something and we need to tell you about it. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.
Cookies
This site uses cookies to keep you logged in, remember what is in your cart, and measure traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site, including checkout and course access, will not work properly without them.
How long we keep it
Subscriber records are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Order and tax records are kept for as long as the law requires, normally seven years. Course accounts are kept for as long as you have access to the course.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop emailing you. Write to hello@themoneycomeback.com and we will respond within 30 days.
California residents. Under the CCPA and CPRA you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA.
EU and UK residents. Under the GDPR and UK GDPR you also have the right to data portability, to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority. We process your data on the basis of your consent, of performing a contract with you, or of our legitimate interest in running the site.
Security
The site runs over an encrypted connection and access to subscriber and order data is limited to Elsa Tortella. No website can promise perfect security, but we take reasonable steps to protect what we hold.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their information, write to us and we will delete it.
Other sites
Pages on this site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top of the page and, where the change is significant, tell subscribers by email.
